5.5" Phoenix

I've built a few kits before but the through-the-wall fin construction on this one is on another level, everything locks in square without any fiddling. The pre-slotted airframe saved me hours of measuring too.

Slots lined up perfectly with the pre-cut airframe, so the whole build went together without any frustrating guesswork. The through-the-wall fins feel rock solid now that it’s assembled, and honestly the scale proportions just look right sitting on the pad.

The through-the-wall fin construction made assembly way less fiddly than other kits I've built, and those factory pre-slotted slots lined up perfectly. I was honestly intimidated by the "advanced builder" label, but it's been a rewarding project so far.
