The Sandhawk is our sport scale version of the famous American sounding rocket! The 29mmt is an advanced series kit, which features factory pre-slotted airframe and through-the-wall fin construction. It's perfect for F and G motors, and the rugged airframe can take I power if you can handle it! The 38mmt is the performance series version and is great as a stand alone kit or is ready to be married to the 3" Terrier Booster section for 2 stage flight.

The 29mm motor mount is perfect for F and G motors and the rugged airframe can take I power if you can handle it. Parachute Recovery.

  • 38mm motor mount Performance Series: With a 38mmt this is our performance version of the kit which includes Nylon recovery and loops sewn in. Quick links and eye bolts for secure recovery connections. Also ready to accept the 3″ Terrier Booster.

    These kits include heavy duty airframe and motor mount tubes, high-grade precision-cut plywood fins, centering rings, rip-stop nylon parachute, Kevlar shock cord and mount, 1010 rail buttons, and polypropylene nose cones.

The through-the-wall fin construction makes this thing rock solid, way sturdier than the glue-on fins I dealt with on my last build. The 29mm motor mount gives you plenty of options without overcomplicating things.

Wasn't sure how the through-the-wall fins would line up on a 29mm mount, but everything locked in square on the first dry fit. The fin slots were cut clean enough that I barely touched them with sandpaper. Flies straight as an arrow too.
