Skinnie Minnie Magg 5.5"

Skinnie Minnie Magg 5.5" - Main image
$89.1 $135 In stock

We're taking it back to the beginning! The Skinnie Minnie Magg is an homage to the original, lightweight Minie-Magg from 1986, which was designed to be the largest production kit that you can fly without a certification. With 1/8 inch fins and rings and the absence of shock cord mounting hardware, this svelte beauty goes up great on G motors yet is robust enough to fly on some Level 1 motors. A 38mm motor mount and factory pre-slotted airframe and through-the-wall fin construction makes it very versatile. Join the MAGG family today!

Edward Z. ★★★★★

Didn't expect a kit this light to feel this solid in the air. The 5.5" size paired with the lightweight build makes it easy to fly on smaller fields without sacrificing presence. Nice nod to the 1986 original without feeling like a museum piece.

Edward V. ★★★★★

Didn't expect a 5.5" kit to fly this light, but the whole thing barely weighs anything once it's up there. Feels like a proper throwback build too, simple and sturdy without extra bulk.

Olivia S. ★★★★★

The 5.5" size is perfect for smaller fields where I don't have room to launch something bigger. Flies surprisingly stable on a light motor, and it's about as simple a build as you'll find.
